Health At 65

Being 65 years old without any red numbers in my health report is not bad.  What's important is what experience can I share with you.  Am I just lucky?
I have so far passed all medical examination without taking any medication or vitamin.  Yes, some might say that I was born with good genes. Perhaps.
If I may, I like to share with you that I am now a firm believer that we can not buy health?  Drug is needed only if you are sick.  Vitamins are needed only if you eat improperly.
If you know how to sleep properly, eat properly, work properly and exercise properly, your body has ways to take care of itself.  Just have to give it time and opportunity.
Yet, while most of the people in the US may know what sleep, eat and work properly are, few truly understood what properly mean.
For instance, the western exercise concept are organ and muscle based, while the Chinese exercises are holistic and life energy based. Have you noticed that marathon runners are thin?  People who are 90 plus are also thin?  Based on Traditional Chinese Medicine, our health is dependent on a balanced system of all of our muscles and organ as well as a good flow of life energy, or chi, without hindrance.
Therefore, traditional Asian exercises, such as Tai-Chi and yoga are slow and each requires a mental focus of some sort.
Do some research.  Don't try to be lucky.  Especially if you are over 40.  It is time.
